Who We Are

The passion for the construction industry is genetic, as the Chief Executive Officer, Mark Campbell followed in his father’s footsteps by first falling in love with engineering and construction. Raised in Vineyard Town, St. Andrew, Mark was always intrigued by machines and the science behind pulling them apart and reconstructing them. However, his father’s foray into construction, trading in tools and equipment, piqued his interest as well as matched his desire and acumen to bring concepts to reality. In 2005, he joined the family business, Camral Construction as a Director and in 2008, he graduated from the University of Technology in Jamaica, with a Diploma in Construction Management. This is subsequent to him studying engineering for a combined four years at the University of Technology, Excelsior Community college, and HEART; transferring the credits into the construction Management program based on his desire to create and build his innovations. Mark Campbell partnered with a few university graduates in 2015 and moved a new company into success. However, based on his personal mantra of excellence and customer experience he decided to start MARCAM BUILDERS & LANDSCAPERS in 2017 to give customers complete satisfaction throughout the entire process from concept, design, build, and post-build. That is bringing a customer’s dreams to reality and respecting the science behind the construction. Success was never far off as MARCAM BUILDERS & LANDSCAPERS spiralled and now desires further adjustment to the business model to remain relevant and efficient. The agility in the business model is allowing for ongoing restructuring to ensure customer needs are satisfied. Mark Campbell’s commitment to growth and excellence is at the forefront and he continues to find the experts within the marketplace to support the relevance and outpace the market deliverables.
